Baby Basics Class
This class is will cover newborn care of your baby in the hospital and when you get home. Education provided includes newborn behaviors, keeping your baby safe and recognizing feeding cues. This is a more in-depth understanding of your baby immediately after delivery and in the first few days after birth.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and would like the use of a qualified interpreter or other auxiliary aids and services, please call the TDD line at 504-842-3719. When requesting a qualified interpreter, please give us three days advance notice if possible. These services are provided free of charge.
