Childbirth Class - Part 4 - Baptist

In this 4-part class, you will learn about general prenatal health, choices of labor pain relief methods, the process of labor and giving birth, delivery options and interventions, skin to skin for mom & baby, and rooming-in. At the end of every class we offer a tour of Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units. Family and friends are welcome to join Mom for class! Class 1 - Delivery Part I - Pregnancy, when to go to the hospital, and vaginal birth
Class 2 – Delivery Part II - Medical interventions, epidurals, and C- Sections
Class 3 – Post Partum & Baby Safety - Care of new moms after delivery and newborn safety information
Class 4 – Newborn Care - Care of your baby in the hospital and when you get home
The Prenatal Class takes place from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Auditorium, 1st floor McFarland Medical Plaza. Register by emailing Jenifer Ducoing, RNC at firstname.lastname@example.org
Prenatal Refresher Class includes a review of the labor and delivery process as well as care for the newborn. Classes take place Thursdays 6:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m. in the Harmony Room. Register at ochsner.org/baptistclasses.
