Voices for Awareness: Understanding Alzheimer's Together

Join us for the 2025 New Orleans Caregiver Symposium, presented in partnership with Ochsner Health and Xavier University of Louisiana. This inspiring event is dedicated to supporting those who care for loved ones and will provide food.

During this one-day symposium, expert speakers will share practical guidance on care planning, recognizing cognitive changes, and the importance of early detection. The program will feature presentations from a neurologist, elder law attorney, researcher, and caregiver, followed by a Q&A session with a neuropsychologist, social worker, elder attorney, and neurologist. Attendees can also explore the Caregiver Resource Fair, where local organizations and community services will provide valuable tools and support to help caregivers thrive. Whether someone is new to caregiving or has years of experience, this event offers knowledge and connection to help navigate the challenges and rewards of this vital role.
