SURVIVE DAT Support Group
This support group is where young breast cancer patients can gain access to local support groups, health information and more, all tailored to their specific need.
Liesolette Tansey Breast Center Resource Room In partnership with MARY BIRD PERKINS CANCER CENTER and LSUHSC SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH
CANCER SUPPORT GROUPS offer physician, oncology social worker and dietician speakers that will address an array of topics, followed by an open group discussion. Presentations are designed to support the patient with topics such as sexuality and cancer, lymphedema, meditation & relaxation techniques, nutrition, massage, social security disability benefit and much more. Support groups are designed to be informational and empowering for both the survivor and their caregivers.
Registration is not required.
